You can now watch the official trailer for the heartbreaking drama series Dear Edward. The series is a live adaptation of the bestselling novel of the same name by Ann Napolitano. On Friday, February 3, 2023, the first three episodes of the 10-episode first season will debut. After that, one new episode will air every Friday until March 24, 2023.
The series follows a 12-year-old kid named Edward Adler who survives a tragic plane crash that kills every passenger on board, including his family. It stars SAG Award winner Taylor Schilling, Connie Britton, and newcomer Colin O’Brien. Also, the cast includes Amy Forsyth, Eva Ariel Binder, Brittany S. Hall, Idris Debrand, Carter Hudson, Maxwell Jenkins, Jenna Qureshi, Audrey Corsa, Anna Uzele, Ivan Shaw, and Dario Ladani Sanchez.
Katims, the showrunner, also serves as a writer for Dear Edward. Also, alongside Jeni Mulein, he executive produces through True Jack Productions. Fisher Stevens will helm the premiere and act as executive producer on the pilot, and book author Napolitano is also an EP.
