Frog and Toad, a series adaptation of the beloved Caldecott and Newbery Award-winning four-book series of the same name by Arnold Lobel, is coming on Apple TV+. The series follows the best buddies Frog and Toad. They understand that the key to friendship is embracing one’s differences and appreciating one’s commonalities. It premieres on the streaming service on April 28, 2023.
The showrunner is Emmy Award-winning Rob Hoegee, and producing the animation is Emmy Award-winning studio Titmouse. Adrianne Lobel, Adam Lobel, Chris Prynoski of Titmouse, Shannon Prynoski, Antonio Canobbio, Ben Kalina, and Hoegee serve as EPs of the series.
The talented voice cast includes Nat Faxon and Kevin Michael Richardson as Frog and Toad. Also, it includes appearances by Ron Funches, Fortune Feimster, Cole Escola, Aparna Nancherla, John Hodgman, Yvette Nicole Brown, Stephen Tobolowsky, Emmy Award nominee Tom Kenny, Selene Luna, Emmy Award nominee Margaret Cho, and Betsy Sodaro.
