Disney’s movie “Haunted Mansion,” which draws inspiration from the famous theme park ride, is set to start streaming on Disney+ on October 4th. This announcement was made today at Destination D23 in Orlando.
This cinematic adaptation of the beloved theme park attraction, directed by Justin Simien and written by Katie Dippold, initially premiered in theaters on July 28th.
The film narrates the tale of a woman and her son who seek the assistance of a diverse group of purported spiritual experts to expel supernatural occupants from their homes. The cast features LaKeith Stanfield, Tiffany Haddish, Owen Wilson, Danny DeVito, Rosario Dawson, Chase W. Dillon, and Daniel Levy, with Jamie Lee Curtis and Jared Leto portraying The Hatbox Ghost.
Produced by Dan Lin and Jonathan Eirich under their Rideback banner, with Nick Reynolds and Tom Peitzman serving as executive producers.
Additionally, the movie will be accessible on digital platforms starting from October 4th, including Prime Video, Apple TV, and Vudu.
