Disney+ has announced that “Star Wars: Ahsoka,” a new series from Lucasfilm, will premiere on August 23. Alongside this exciting news, Disney+ has released a TV spot, which will be shown during the NBA Finals Game 3, as well as three images from the series.
Set in a galaxy vulnerable after the fall of the Empire, “Star Wars: Ahsoka” follows the adventures of Ahsoka Tano, a former Jedi Knight, as she investigates a looming threat.
Starring Rosario Dawson as Ahsoka, the series features a talented ensemble cast including Natasha Liu Bordizzo as Sabine Wren, Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Hera Syndulla, Ray Stevenson as Baylan Skoll, Ivanna Sakhno as Shin Hati, Diana Lee Inosanto as Morgan Elsbeth, David Tennant as Huyang, Lars Mikkelsen as Grand Admiral Thrawn, and Eman Esfandi as Ezra Bridger.
