Apple TV+ has announced that its new drama series, “The Changeling,” starring LaKeith Stanfield and executive produced by him, will premiere on Friday, September 8. The show, based on the bestselling book by Victor LaValle, combines elements of horror, a tale of parenthood, and an adventurous journey through an unknown side of New York City. Following a three-episode premiere, new episodes will be released weekly until October 13. The series also features Clark Backo, Adina Porter, Samuel T. Herring, Alexis Louder, Jared Abrahamson, and special guest star Malcolm Barrett. Showrunner Kelly Marcel has written and adapted the series, with the pilot episode directed by Melina Matsoukas. Produced by Apple Studios and Annapurna, the executive producers include Megan Ellison, Patrick Chu, Ali Krug, Matsoukas, David Knoller, Jonathan van Tulleken, Sue Naegle, David Wolkis, and co-executive producer Khaliah Neal.
