You can now watch the official trailer for The Last Thing He Told Me, an upcoming thriller television miniseries on Apple TV+. The series is an adaptation of the No. 1 New York Times bestselling novel by Laura Dave. Catch it when episodes one and two premiere on Friday, April 14, 2023, with new episodes every Friday through May 19.
The Last Thing He Told Me centers on Hannah, a lady who needs to build a relationship with her stepdaughter Bailey, 16, to learn the truth about her husband’s disappearance. It stars Jennifer Garner, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Angourie Rice, Aisha Tyler, Augusto Aguilera, Geoff Stults, and John Harlan Kim.
Laura Dave created and adapted the series with Oscar-winning co-creator Josh Singer. It is their first collaboration of the married couple as executive producers with Garner, Hello Sunshine’s Reese Witherspoon, and Lauren Neustadter. The series is produced for Apple by Hello Sunshine, who optioned the book from author Laura Dave and serves as the studio on the project with 20th Television. The series’ all-female director lineup includes Deniz Gamze Ergüven, Daisy Von Scherler Mayer, and Lila Neugebauer, with Olivia Newman directing the pilot episode.
