The Latin Music Revolution: A Soul of a Nation Presentation

This includes a new primetime special, “The Latin Music Revolution,” part of the Emmy Award-winning series “Soul of a Nation.” This one-hour special will delve into the immense popularity of global Latin music and the rising young stars who have made waves with chart-topping hits and record-breaking sales. It will explore the roots and evolution of Latin pop music, spotlighting artists who have broken barriers, such as Ricky Martin, Marc Anthony, and Enrique Iglesias, and how they paved the way for the current generation.

The special will include interviews with notable figures in the Latin music industry, including Karol G, Nicky Jam, Goyo, RBD, Amara “La Negra,” Linda Ronstadt, Sheila E., and Pete Escovedo. It will also highlight the cultural and community connections inherent in Latin and Caribbean music, featuring insights from experts in the field.

“The Latin Music Revolution: A Soul of a Nation Presentation” will air on September 15th at 8:00 p.m. EDT, available the next day on Hulu.
