Hulu revealed the first look for Tiny Beautiful Things, a series adaptation of Cheryl Strayed’s New York Times bestseller of the same name. They are planning for it to be an eight-part series with half-hour-long episodes. It premieres sometime in Spring 2023.
The comedy series centers on a lady who reluctantly accepts the prestigious, anonymous advice columnist position of Dear Sugar when her personal life is in disarray. She tells her story in several timelines with intimacy and bravery.
It stars Kathryn Hahn, Sarah Pidgeon, Quentin Plair, and Tanzyn Crawford. Also, it features guest stars Owen Painter, Merritt Wever, Elizabeth Hinkler, and Michaela Watkins.
Liz Tigelaar will serve as creator and executive producer of the series. Along with Strayed and Hahn, the executive producers of the series include Reese Witherspoon, Laura Dern, Lauren Neustadter, Stacey Silverman, and Jayme Lemons. Tiny Beautiful Things is from ABC Signature and Hello Sunshine.
