The Roku Channel has officially announced the third season of its English-language Roku Original series “Thanks a Million,” titled “Un Millón de Gracias,” produced by Jennifer Lopez. The show premieres on August 11 on The Roku Channel in the U.S. and later in Mexico.
This 10-episode series, produced by B17 Entertainment and Nuyorican Productions, features Jennifer Lopez, Rhett Bachner, Brien Meagher, Aliyah Silverstein (for B17 Entertainment), and Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas, Larry Del Santo (for Nuyorican Productions) as executive producers, with Alex Davies serving as the showrunner.
Breaking new ground, this season is entirely shot in Spanish. It follows 10 grateful celebrities who each gift $100,000 to a community hero who inspired them. However, the recipient must then give half of the amount to someone they are grateful for, continuing the chain of kindness. The “pay-it-forward chain” includes Chiquis, Gina Torres, Jaime Camil, Javier “Chicharito” Hernández, Lauren Jauregui, Michael Peña, Michelle Rodriguez, Pau Gasol, Sofia Reyes, and Wilmer Valderrama.
