HGTV gave the green light to their new renovation series, Building Paradise. Cineflix Productions produces the series. It will have six episodes and will premiere sometime in 2024.
Building Paradise follows Luke Shantz and Steph Sitt, who are high-end experts in hospitality and building, as they transform a run-down motel in the Costa Rican surf town of Jacó into a lovely boutique hotel. The adventurous couple travels with their two young girls and will work with a local designer and builder to create Hotel Amavi.
“Luke and Steph are bringing HGTV viewers along on their adventure of a lifetime, and the stakes couldn’t be higher. Set against the stunning Costa Rican coastline, Building Paradise is quintessential escapist programming that will have home renovation fans returning week after week,” said Loren Ruch, Head of Content, HGTV, in a press release from HGTV.
