Hulu has released the trailer for their upcoming original series, “Death and Other Details.” The murder mystery, consisting of 10 episodes, will premiere on January 16, 2024, with a double-episode debut, followed by weekly single episodes. The series concludes with a two-episode finale on March 5, 2024. Taking place in the glamorous world of the global elite, “Death and Other Details” follows Imogene Scott (Violett Beane), a brilliant and restless individual who, due to being in the wrong place at the wrong time (partly her fault), becomes the prime suspect in a locked room murder mystery. The luxurious setting is a meticulously restored Mediterranean ocean liner, and the list of suspects includes every indulged guest and fatigued crew member. To prove her innocence, Imogene must reluctantly partner with Rufus Cotesworth (Mandy Patinkin), the world’s greatest detective, whom she despises. The series is produced by ABC Signature and is written and executive-produced by Mike Weiss and Heidi Cole McAdams, who also serve as showrunners. Marc Webb directed the pilot and is an executive producer alongside Mark Martin for Black Lamb, with David Petrarca also serving as an executive producer.
