FX is developing a new espionage drama series, Drug Spies. According to reports, FX won a tough bidding series with other competitors to secure the project, which is still in its early phases of development. They are yet to reveal more details regarding the series. What we know for now is that it is based on a true story and centers on two former CIA special forces soldiers sent by Big Pharma to take out the most recognized generic drug producer worldwide.
Sister, in association with Oil & Cattle, produces Drug Spies. Noah Pink, known for his work as the writer for the screenplay of the upcoming Tetris Movie, author Kirk Wallace Johnson, and the director of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Kari Skogland, are executive producers. Also, the three are responsible for developing the series.
Other EPs include Sister’s Kate Fenske and Adam Hoff, Teddy Smith, and Tom Carter from Oil & Cattle. Gersh and Hansen Jacobson represent Pink, WME and Anonymous Content represent Skogland, and CAA represents Wallace Johnson.
