Eva the Owlet, a new kids and family show, is coming on Apple TV+. The streaming service released the official trailer for the upcoming series today. It is an adaptation of the book series Owl Diaries by award-winning author Rebecca Elliott. Catch it when it premieres on Friday, March 31.
The series follows Eva, a cheeky, creative owlet who lives next door to her best friend, Lucy, in the woodland world of Treetopington. Eva bursting with enormous ideas and an even bigger personality embarks on high-flying journeys while expressing herself in her diary.
The cast includes Vivienne Rutherford, Jessica DiCicco, Dino Andrade, Romy Fay, Sascha Yurchak, Jon Olson, Evie Hsu, Sarah Vattano, Pressly James Crosby, and Kenna Ramsey, as they lend their voices to the characters.
Iole Lucchese, Caitlin Friedman, Jef Kaminsky, Cathal Gaffney, and Darragh O’Connell serve as executive producers. Also, Annabeth Bondor-Stone and Connor White are co-executive producers. Scholastic Entertainment produces with production services and 4K animation by 9 Story Media Group’s Brown Bag Films in Dublin and Bali. Eva the Owlet also features original songs by musician and singer-songwriter Fitz of Fitz and the Tantrums.
