The upcoming Frasier sequel series on Paramount+ is scheduled to debut on October 12, premiering with two episodes, followed by weekly releases every Thursday. Internationally, the show will premiere a day later, with new episodes available on Fridays.
Furthermore, CBS plans to broadcast the first two episodes on October 17. Kelsey Grammer returns to reprise his iconic role as Frasier Crane, who has returned to Boston, reconnecting with old acquaintances as his grown son Freddy takes on the role of a firefighter. Frasier navigates a new chapter in his life, facing fresh challenges, forging new relationships, and pursuing long-held dreams.
The 10-episode series features a talented ensemble cast, including Nicholas Lyndhurst as Frasier’s college friend turned professor Alan, Toks Olagundoye as Olivia, Jess Salgueiro as Freddy’s roommate Eve, and Anders Keith as Frasier’s nephew David. Notably, Bebe Neuwirth reprises her role as Lilith, Frasier’s ex-wife and Freddy’s mother, and Peri Gilpin returns as Roz.
Created by Chris Harris and Joe Cristalli, the series is executive produced by Kelsey Grammer, Tom Russo, Jordan McMahon, and CBS Studios. The initial two episodes are directed by James Burrows, renowned for his work on Cheers, Frasier, Will & Grace, and Dear John.
