A&E Network gives the greenlight to Kings of BBQ, a new unscripted series that will introduce you to the varying techniques and flavors of barbeque across America. The ten-part series features Anthony Anderson and Cedric The Entertainer as they grow their love of barbeque and learn more about it to start their own barbeque brand.
In each episode, they visit barbeque chefs, pitmasters, and other specialists who share their knowledge and trade secrets in each hour-long episode, spotlighting Black Excellence in the industry along the way. With their partnership for AC Barbeque, the friends draw on their own experiences, the wisdom of industry experts, and their excitement for the cuisine.
“Anthony and I are very excited to take our audience into the savory, smokehouse-filled, finger licking world of barbeque all across the United States. In collaboration with A&E, we created the ‘Kings of BBQ’ series as a perfect way to share our new business venture, AC Barbeque, with all of you,” says Cedric The Entertainer.
“I’m thrilled to partner with A&E on this series to honor the traditions and flavors of barbeque that have been a big part of my life for as long as I can remember,” said Anthony Anderson.

Propagate produces Kings of BBQ for the A&E Network. Ben Silverman, Howard T. Owens, Drew Buckley, Linh Le, and Rebecca Graham Forde are the executive producers for Propagate. Cedric the Entertainer and Eric C. Rhone serve as the executive producers for A Bird And A Bear Entertainment. Executive producers for Just a Kid From Compton are Anthony Anderson and E. Brian Dobbins. Elaine Frontain Bryant and Brad Holcman serve as executive producers for A&E Network.

Friends for years, Cedric and Anthony bonded over their shared love of barbeque and the unique history that surrounds it. Hailing from St. Louis, MO and Compton, CA, both Cedric and Anthony grew up with their own variations on the craft. Partnering on AC Barbeque, the friends combine their individual experiences, knowledge from experts in the field, and enthusiasm for the artform together to create a brand that has everything the home cook needs for a barbeque feast anywhere.
