Netflix gave the order for a series adaptation of Man on Fire, A.J. Quinnell’s thriller novel. Aside from the Man on Fire, the story will also get inspiration from his other book, The Perfect Kill. The streamer is yet to announce the premiere date, the cast, and essential details of the series.
The series centers on Creasy, a wounded ex-mercenary on a quest to exact revenge for the loss of his only companion while defending the daughter of his dead comrade from the forces responsible for her family’s devastation.
Kyle Killen serves as the writer for Man on Fire. Also, he will be executive producing with Scott Pennington for Chapter Eleven. Other EPs include Arnon Milchan, Yariv Milchan, and Michael Schaefer, executive produce for New Regency Productions. Additionally, Peter Chernin, Jenno Topping, Bill McGoldrick, and Juan Alfonso serve as executive producers for Chernin Entertainment under their Netflix deal.
