Apple TV+ has unveiled the official trailer for their upcoming music competition series, My Kind of Country. The series dissolves borders in country music and give diverse performers an amazing opportunity to become the next big country music star. Whoever wins gets a once-in-a-lifetime prize from Apple and worldwide exposure on Apple TV+ and Apple Music platforms. It premieres on Friday, March 24, 2023.
They introduced the twelve artists who will participate in the competition. Showcasing their talents in the competition will be Ale Aguirre, Dhruv Visvanath, Camille Parker, and Justin Serrao as Jimmie Allen’s artists. Mickey Guyton’s artists are Ashlie Amber, Chuck Adams, The Betsies — Zel and Landi Degenaar, and Wandile. Also, for Orville Peck, it will be Alisha Pais, The Congo Cowboys — Julie Sigauque, Simon Attwell and Chris Bakalanga, Ismay Hellman, and Micaela Kleinsmith. These scouts handpick excellent up-and-coming musicians and invite them to Nashville, Tennessee, to give them a chance to present their unique sound.
The executive producers for My Kind of Country are Reese Witherspoon, Kacey Musgraves, Sara Rea, Lauren Neustadter, Jason Owen, Izzie Pick Ibarra, and Katy Mullan. Adam Blackstone is the music director.
