Apple TV+ released a first look into Platonic, an upcoming comedy series starring Seth Rogen and Rose Byrne. The ten-part series premieres on Wednesday, May 24, 2023, with its first three episodes, followed by new episodes every Wednesday.
The series centers on a platonic pair of former best friends who grew apart and later reconnected as they approached midlife. Alongside Rogen and Byrne, the cast includes Luke Macfarlane, Tre Hale, Carla Gallo, and Andrew Lopez.
Nick Stoller and Francesca Delbanco serve as co-creators, directors, and co-writers of Platonic. Sony Pictures Television produce the series. Byrne, Rogen, Stoller, Delbanco, and Conor Welch serve as executive producers.
