Apple TV+ has released the trailer for its new 10-episode comedy series, “Platonic,” featuring Rose Byrne and Seth Rogen as lead stars and executive producers.
Co-created, directed, and co-written by Nick Stoller and Francesca Delbanco, the half-hour comedy is set to premiere globally on May 24, 2023, on Apple TV+, with the first three episodes dropping at once, followed by new episodes every week.
The series follows the story of two former best friends, played by Rogen and Byrne, who reconnect in their middle age, leading to a hilarious yet destabilizing relationship.
The show also features an ensemble cast, including Luke Macfarlane, Tre Hale, Andrew Lopez, and Carla Gallo. Produced by Sony Pictures Television, “Platonic” is another addition to Apple TV+’s growing offering of successful comedy series, such as “Ted Lasso,” “Shrinking,” “Schmigadoon!,” “The Afterparty,” and more.
