Netflix gave the fans a sneak peek at Pluto, an upcoming anime adaptation of the award-winner and bestseller manga series of the same name by Naoki Urasawa & Osamu Tezuka. You can expect the series to premiere sometime later this year.
Pluto is a suspense drama series set in a neo-futuristic society where robots and people coexist peacefully. The show follows robot investigator Gesicht of Europol as he looks into a string of robot and human killings.
The manga is based on The Greatest Robot on Earth arc from Osamu Tezuka‘s Astro Boy. GENCO produces with animation production by Studio M2. The series stars Shinshu Fuji, Yoko Hikasa, and Minori Suzuki as they lend their voice to the characters.
