Benza will also explore the mysterious deaths of Brittany Murphy, Tupac and Biggie, Bob Crane, Marilyn Monroe, O.J. Simpson and Elvis. New episodes will air Saturdays at 10pm ET/ 7pm PT. As a former New York Daily News gossip columnist, AJ Benza made a commitment to uncovering all of the secrets celebrities want kept out of the spotlight. In 1997, Benza left New York City for Los Angeles to host Mysteries & Scandals for five years, solidifying his role as the ultimate Hollywood insider. Benza is also the author of Fame, Ain't it a Bitch - a free-wheeling account of his rise and fall as a New York City newspaper columnist. His most recent memoir, 74 and Sunny, was published last July. He's also had key roles in several movies including Ransom, P.S. Your Cat is Dead, Conspiracy Theory and Rocky Balboa.
