The Last Alaskans TV Show Synopsis:
The series chronicles the daily rituals of four families choosing to live in seclusion, vast distances from each other as they overcome harsh arctic conditions, frustrating setbacks, and aggressive wildlife while they survive in one of the last great unspoiled and unforgiving wildernesses on the planet. In the refuge, prop planes, canoes and dog sleds replace the modern luxuries that most people take for granted. Humans cohabit with the animal world and often share the same emotions and struggles while they discover that they are not necessary at the top of the food chain. Utilizing an authentic and organic approach to document the weeks leading up to and during the winter season, THE LAST ALASKANS sets a distinctive and vibrant tone unlike any other docu-series before to completely immerse the viewer into a world that would otherwise be lost in history. Complete with stunning aerial shots via drones and a pace that honestly depicts the lives of nonconformists who choose to live off the land and off the grid, the series provides viewers with an unbiased look and deep exploration into the unique perspectives of America's last frontiersmen and their loved ones.

We love The Last Alaskans families and all there lives in that majestic part of Gods country. I hope there will be more to experience with the remaining families. Can’t wait for the show to return.

The show must go on…..It was the best show on tv….I’m not much on tv series but these nature shows in Alaska are the best.! But nothing compares to this show it has really touched our hearts. Now it’s been kinda empty heart feeling not to have the show go on…I can watch this show forever it’s that heart felt to us.! Bring back our extended families PleazzzzzzzzzzzE
Absolutely. I watch anything to do with Alaska but there is something about the Last Alaskans that has touched our hearts. It is similar to the orher Alaska documentaries but different, more personable. Love the series please don’t stop until the last family leaves.
hope the last alaskans return in 2021 we love this ahow and want to see it back
this is a show that is close to the real way they live their lives. No cussing, no bad language, a real family show, also liked by people like me, who do not need bad language and shootings and killings to be entertained. Really sad, that shows like this one, will be cancelled, but shows with bad language, cussing killings and shootings will go on for ever

I totally agree with this response about bringing back the last Alaskans. You can get rid of the gold miners and the other phone is that around other shows. The last Alaskans is the best show on TV today. Do you have a home run there don’t lose it, Please.

My 99 years old gram and I have all 4 seasons and watch an episode every morning with our coffee. We want to see all the families and their children. How is Heimo and Edna? Did Charlie find a bride? Did Rays 3 daughters come home with grandchildren? How are the Sheldons? Krin and Scot and Coby did they continue coming back? When are you making another season?????
One of the few “great moments in television”. I hope they see a way to get the families back on the air. Charlie is my favorite cast member; so much potential in that young kid. ALL of the families are worth watching; as they could all have their own shows with the type lifestyles they all lead.
Yes please bring it back. It’s real and shows’ a version of how man lived hundreds of years ago. The only show like it.
