The Battle for Justina Pelletier is an original series coming on Peacock. It is a new addition to their slate of docuseries. The series features the true story of a 14-year-old girl with mysterious symptoms and the different interpretations of the events that followed. It premieres on the streaming platform on Tuesday, December 13, 2022.
David Metzler serves as the director of The Battle for Justina Pelletier. Additionally, the EPs for the series are David Metzler, Tom Forman, Jenny Daly, Jon Beyer, and David Kushner, with Meredith Wright and Austin Flack as co-executive producers. Critical Content produces.
In a press release by Peacock, the people associated with the docuseries stated:

“When our team started this project three years ago, we wondered how one event could be interpreted two entirely different ways. As we investigated, we found there were few easy answers,” said Director David Metzler. “What drove us forward was the very brave girl at the center of it and to make sure Justina’s story gets told and remembered.”
