Disney+ announced their upcoming sports drama series, The Crossover. 20th Television will start filming the series for Disney+ this coming June 2023. The series is an adaptation of the novel of the same name by Kwame Alexander.
The Crossover follows teen brothers Josh and Jordan Bell, who are basketball phenoms in their coming of age, on and off the court. The series stars Jayln Hall, Amir O’Neil, Sabrina Revelle, Derek Luke, Deja Monique, Trevor Bush, Skyla I’Lece, and Daveed Diggs.
George Tillman Jr. will serve as the director of the series. Bob Teitel and Jay Marcus will produce this new upcoming Disney+ series. Damani Johnson and Dee Johnson are producers and writers of the series, along with the author Kwame Alexander.
