HBO released the official teaser of White House Plumbers, a miniseries about the Watergate scandal, one of the biggest political scandals in American history. It is based in part on public records and the book “Integrity” by Egil “Bud” Krogh and Matthew Krogh.
The series centers on Watergate masterminds E. Howard Hunt and G. Gordon Liddy as they accidentally toppled the presidency that they were trying to protect. It premieres on HBO sometime on March 2023.
It stars Woody Harrelson and Justin Theroux as Hunt and Liddy. Also, the cast includes Domhnall Gleeson, Lena Headey, Kiernan Shipka, Ike Barinholtz, Yul Vazquez, David Krumholtz, Rich Sommer, Judy Greer, Kim Coates, Liam James, Zoe Levin, Tony Plana, Zak Orth, Nelson Ascencio, Tre Ryder, Gary Cole, Toby Huss, John Carroll Lynch, and Kathleen Turner.
Director David Mandel serves as an executive producer along with Frank Rich, David Bernad, Gregg Fienberg, Justin Theroux, Woody Harrelson, Len Amato, and Ruben Fleischer. Alex Gregory and Peter Huyck serve as creators, writers, and executive producers. An HBO co-production with wiip with executive producers Paul Lee, Mark Roybal, and Nne Ebong.
